Hire Checklist

Overview​

Safety is our number one priority. To help ensure that every hire is set up safely and ready to use, we complete a Hire Checklist whenever we deliver and set up our inflatable equipment.

The checklist confirms that the equipment and surrounding area are suitable for use and that the inflatable has been correctly set up. Our Castle Kings team member will carry out these checks, and the Hirer will also need to confirm that they are happy with the setup before the equipment is used.

When making your online booking, you will be given two options for confirming the Hire Checklist:

Physical Sign-Off
If you select Physical Sign-off during the online booking process, once the inflatable has been delivered and set up, a Castle Kings team member will go through the checklist with you. You will have the opportunity to check everything and raise any questions or concerns before the equipment is used. Once you are happy, both you and the Castle Kings team member will sign the physical Hire Checklist.

Pre-Agreement
If you select Pre-Agreement during the online booking process, you agree that Castle Kings will complete the necessary safety checks before leaving the equipment. You also agree to check the items listed in the Hire Checklist yourself before allowing anyone to use or approach the inflatable or any other equipment supplied as part of the hire.

If you have any concerns or do not agree that the checklist requirements have been met, please contact us immediately on +44 7839 713093 so that we can address the issue before the equipment is used.

If you are not the person responsible for checking and agreeing to the setup, you must select 'Physical Sign-Off' so that the checklist can be completed with the appropriate person present.

If any safety requirement cannot be agreed by either the Hirer or Castle Kings, the equipment will not be used until the matter has been resolved. Where an issue cannot be satisfactorily resolved, we may need to cancel the hire on safety grounds. In such circumstances, we will discuss the available options with you, which may include an alternative date or a refund.

Hire Checklist​

After the Inflatable Equipment is delivered and setup by the owner/staff member of Castle Kings both the Hirer and Castle Kings owner/staff member agrees with the following statements:

  • Setup area clear of debris and/or sharp objects.

  • Inflatable(s) are stable and on level ground.

  • Inflatable(s) have been suitably anchored to the ground.

  • Blower(s) are securely attached & a safe distance from the equipment.

  • Electrical cords are in good working order.

  • There are no visible tears, rips or seams to the inflatable. 

  • Equipment left fully inflated and in working order.

BY USING OR ALLOWING OTHERS THE USE OF THE INFLATABLE EQUIPMENT I HEREBY AGREE TO THE ABOVE STATEMENTS, SHOULD YOU NOT AGREE TO THE ABOVE PLEASE CONTACT CASTLE KINGS IMMEDIATELY AND WE WILL LOOK TO RECTIFY ANY ISSUES TO ENSURE THE ABOVE STATEMENTS ARE TRUE OR CANCEL THE BOOKING ON SAFETY GROUNDS.
